Getto krakowskie
Getto krakowskie shows daily life of Krakow inhabitants which changed drastically during the Second World War. It tells about experiences of Holocaust victims, scenes from the Krakow Ghetto and PÅ‚aszów -firstly labour- then concentration camp. Omnipresent starvation, coldness and fear of losing own life, relatives or own dignity determine behaviours of the people in that times.
The idea of the performance inspired by the book " A girl from Schindler's list" written by Stella Mueller-Madej came into being because of the 75th anniversary of the liquidation of the Krakow Ghetto in March 2018.
Performers are dancers from various countries in order to underline one of the goal of the project which is spreading tolerance of different nationality or culture within the society.
