MOLECULAR SCARS

Chapter III

What is the present made of? What narratives, assumptions, exaggerations, secrets and confusions does it hold or carry?
Working with performers of different generations, MOLECULAR SCARS attempts to get a little closer to this puzzle. The piece tells a story about finding meaning in the past and questions how the future can be influenced or shaped. With this production INTER-ACTIONS ends a three-year series, inspired by themes of individual, collective and cross generational experiences with trauma.

RECOVER

chapter II

What do we all need, precisely at this moment? Choreographer Edan Gorlicki, together with five performers explore this question live using choreographic methods developed especially for RE-COVER. This 5 hour durational performance makes personal developments and processes visible, explores states and gives us all time. RE-COVER is designed as a retreat for experiencing, observing and reflecting, revealing a collective organic dramaturgy that emerges anew every performance. RE-COVER also explores the relationship between audience and performers – as both witnesses and bearers of stories. How must this relationship be shaped so that narratives have space to unfold and be re-understood?

IMPACT

chapter I

WHAT DO WE DO

We all make decisions on a daily basis: specifically up to 20,000 a day, 140,000 a week, 7,300,000 a year. Many of them are made unconsciously, from our gut. Others we choose wisely. Often they are small decisions, sometimes big ones – ranging from public life, politics or private lives. In WHAT DO WE DO, choreographer Edan Gorlicki together with four performers explore the question of how decisions work and what strategies are involved. Mirroring democracy, the audience has the choice, as they repeatedly vote and decide on what scenes are performed and the course of the entire piece.
