"justaminimaldance" it's a piece commissioned by Professione Danza Parma in 2020. The goal was to go through a creative process together with the students, in order to give them the experience of a professional like environment, to prepare them for future jobs. The piece takes the concept of the minimal development as a group, alternating moments of fixed material and improvisation. In this frame the students were stimulated to find their creative "voice" and expressions. With this research I could witness very positive effects on them, such as a fast personal growth in confidence to explore movements with their bodies, while establishing a stronger bond as a group, increasing the ability to listen to one another and communicate truly with a physical language.
